Experiment Work and Oil Paintings

I have a great love for spiders - this love is not shared many as I have found with this painting. This spider painting generated the most feedback out of my recent work - I received mixed feedback- many loved the 'idea' of this painting and the vibrant colours, they just couldn't stand to look at the subject in the painting. It has inspired me more to change the perception and representation of spiders

Currently working on these two ideas - one will be a painting of my garden and the other is an information booklet about Cavehill

My work explores the relationship between people and the natural world. Inspired by a culture devout in a connection to the land and its inhabitants, living or deceased. The aim of the exhibition is exploration, to make your own personal connections to the collection and between the objects. The exhibition is interactive, allowing you to touch and even remove some of the objects.
